Cork flights hit by air-traffic controllers' dispute

Eight flights at Cork Airport have been delayed this morning as a result of the ongoing air-traffic controllers' dispute.

The workers are refusing to do overtime as part of a protest against what they say are chronic staff shortages.

The situation has led to the cancellation of operations at Cork Airport between midnight and 8am this morning.

As a result, eight departures have been delayed, affecting the travel plans of hundreds of passengers.
