Man stabbed after refusing cigarette to two youths

A man in his 40s is receiving treatment after being stabbed with a screwdriver by two youths in Limerick city this morning.

The victim suffered injuries to his face and shoulder during the assault on Upper Mallow Street at around 3.30am.
