Consultants and HSE meet to finalise new contracts

Hospital consultants are meeting HSE officials this afternoon in an attempt to finalise details of their new contract.

The Irish Hospital Consultants' Association says that, although agreement on the contract was announced last month, there has been little progress since then on a few outstanding issues.
