A mass is being held this morning to mark the 27th anniversary of the Stardust fire that killed 48 young people.

A mass is being held this morning to mark the 27th anniversary of the Stardust fire that killed 48 young people.

Families and friends of victims will gather for the mass at St Joseph's Church in Coolock, in Dublin.

It will be followed by a procession to the Stardust Memorial Garden where a wreath-laying ceremony will take place.

The Stardust nightclub in Artane went on fire on St Valentine's Day in 1981.
