Children’s Rights Referendum to be held separately to Lisbon

The Taoiseach has indicated that the wording of the Children's Rights amendment will not be ready before the summer.

Bertie Ahern has said he wants to hold the vote on the Lisbon Treaty in late May or June, so it is likely to be put to the people first.
