Ryan announces incentives for wind power providers

Minister for Energy, Eamon Ryan has announced financial incentives aimed at attracting more wind-power providers into the Irish market.

Mr Ryan says he hopes the measure will help Ireland reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.

The National Offshore Wind Association says the new package could trigger a €4bn investment in wind power.
