The Irish Nurses' Organisation says it is worried that reduced staffing levels at Tullamore General Hospital will affect patient care.

The Irish Nurses' Organisation says it is worried that reduced staffing levels at Tullamore General Hospital will affect patient care.

The union is asking the Health Service Executive to reverse a decision not to renew the contracts of up to 30 nurses.

It says the cutbacks are completely unacceptable and will directly affect patient care.
