Cardinal 'prepared to go to prison' to protect files

Cardinal Desmond Connell is prepared to go to prison rather than hand over certain documents relating to child abuse, according to the Irish Catholic newspaper.

Cardinal Connell is currently taking legal action to prevent some files from being released to the government-appointed commission investigating clerical abuse in the Dublin archdiocese.
