Elderly woman dies in car crash

A woman in her 70s was killed last night when her car and a lorry were in collision.

A post mortem is due to be carried out on the victim, who died in the crash on the main Dublin to Cork road, just north of Mitchelstown, Co Cork, at 6.20pm.
