Investigations are continuing into the murder of a suspected Irish drug dealer on Spain's Costa Del Sol yesterday afternoon.

Patrick Doyle (aged 27), from Portland Row in Dublin's north inner city, was a passenger in a car that came under fire in Estepona, near Marbella.

Reports this morning say two more well-known Irish drug dealers were also in the vehicle, one of whom was injured in the shooting and the other who escaped unharmed.

Doyle was reportedly linked with the drugs trade in Ireland, but had been living in southern Spain for the past couple of years.

Before his departure, he is believed to have been deeply involved in a long-running feud between rival criminals in the Crumlin-Drimnagh area that has claimed several lives in recent years.
