Thousands of Dublin’s eircom customers left without service

26,000 eircom customers in Dublin were this afternoon without a phone service.

A statement from the company said a power outage at the Beggar's Bush phone exchange led to the loss of service in the Dublin 2 and Dublin 4 areas.
