Average house prices across the country fell by more than 7% last year, according to the latest figures from the ESRI and Permanent TSB.

Average house prices across the country fell by more than 7% last year, according to the latest figures from the ESRI and Permanent TSB.

The two organisations say the price reduction was more pronounced in Dublin than the rest of the country, while the value of second-hand homes was also down more than that of new houses.
