Refugee groups seek changes to Immigration Bill

A number of groups working with migrants and refugees are calling for changes to the Immigration Bill published yesterday by Minister for Justice Brian Lenihan.

The proposed legislation would make it easier for the Government to monitor and deport illegal immigrants and failed asylum seekers.
