Air France this afternoon rejected claims it is axing a cargo service from Shannon Airport.

It's being claimed the company was preparing to end the service after twenty years in operation.

The Mayor of Clare, Patricia McCarthy, said she had information that Air France is preparing to relocate the once-weekly cargo service to Dublin Airport.

Air France says no such decisions have been taken.
