Taoiseach shrugs off adverse opinion poll findings

The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has shrugged off the latest opinion poll figures showing that a majority of voters do not believe his evidence to the Mahon Tribunal.

Just over half of respondents to a poll in the Sunday Business Report yesterday said they did not believe his evidence, while 46% said they did not trust him to run the country.
