Viper recovering after surviving latest gun attack
The well-known Dublin criminal Martin Foley is reported to be on the road to recovery after surviving another assassination attempt over the weekend.
The 55-year-old fitness fanatic, known as the Viper, was shot at least six times on Saturday afternoon while driving away from a gym in the Kimmage area.
One of the bullets is believed to have grazed his temple and eye socket.
The attack was at least the fourth attempt on Foley's life during his lengthy criminal career and is believed to have been carried out by a drugs gang involved in a brutal feud in the Crumlin area.
Foley reportedly shouted out the name of the gunman while he was being taken to hospital.
