Dublin criminal in critical condition in hospital
The high-profile Dublin crime figure known as 'The Viper' remains in a critical condition in hospital after being shot several times earlier today.
Martin Foley was part of the Dublin crime scene in the 1980s and 1990s.
He was shot six times in the head and chest as he sat in his car on the Lower Kimmage road this afternoon.
He was rushed to St James's hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardaí have sealed off the scene of the shooting for a technical examination.
