Davos protest gets underway in Dublin

People are gathering on the streets of Dublin in protest over the Davos World Economic Forum, in Switzerland.

Nessa Nm Chasaide of Debt and Development Coalition Ireland says global economic policies are failing the poor and believes it is now time to put their needs first.

Protesters from Irish Non Government Organisations are dressed up as "grey men in suits".

Organisers say the stunt is aimed at capturing the damaging impact of the decision-making of those attending the World Economic Forum
