Voters divided on whether Taoiseach should resign

Voters are almost evenly divided on whether Bertie Ahern should resign as Taoiseach, according to an opinion poll published this morning.

Forty-four per cent of respondents to the poll said Mr Ahern should resign due to the controversy over his finances and tax affairs.
