Woman arrested in Donna Cleary murder investigation

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a woman this morning as part of their investigation into the murder of Donna Cleary in Coolock nearly two years ago.

The 24-year-old was arrested in Whitehall under legislation relating to illegally held firearms.

Ms Cleary, 22, was shot dead in March 2006 when a gunman opened fire on a house in Coolock where a party was being held.

The main suspect in the shooting later died in garda custody.
