Four men have been arrested in Cork in connection with an attempted armed burglary this morning.

Four men have been arrested in Cork following an attempted armed burglary this morning.

The gang, one of whom was armed with a shotgun, are suspected to have broke into flats in Mary Street in the city centre at about 5am this morning.
