University teachers threaten industrial action

The country's university teachers have today warned that they might embark on industrial action if they do not get a better deal in the next national pay agreement.

The Irish Federation of University Teachers has said that they were very unhappy that they did not get the pay increase they felt they deserved in this month's Benchmarking Report.
