Kenny hits out at Martin's 'lack of courage'

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has hit back at the Minister for Enterprise Micheal Martin in a developing war of words regarding the Oppositionparty's Standards in Public Office Commission complaint against the Taoiseach.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has hit back at the Minister for Enterprise Micheal Martin in a developing war of words between the pair.

The row centres around Fine Gael's Standards in Public Office Commission complaint against the Taoiseach.

Mr Kenny has accused Martin and all the Government ministers of a "lack of courage".

"Micheal Martin does not accept responsibility for any of his actions," said Kenny. "He's one of 14 other ministers who sit down at the Cabinet table with the Taoiseach and they know that he cannot produce a Certificate of Tax Clearance.

"All of these ministers are, by their silence and their lack of courage, condoning this situation and I have a duty to point this out, as a leader of the opposition."
