LRC calls for air traffic controllers to end overtime ban
The Labour Relations Commission has requested that air traffic controllers at Dublin Airport end their unofficial overtime ban.
The controllers are refusing to do any unrostered work because of their concerns over staffing levels at the airport.
Last night six hours of talks between the Irish Aviation Authority and the controllers union IMPACT failed to resolve the matter, leading both sides to refer the matter to the LRC.
A spokesperson for the union says it's considering the Commission's request.
