Dunlop describes Gilmartin as 'delusional buffoon'

Former political lobbyist Frank Dunlop has described property developer Tom Gilmartin as a "delusional buffoon" during his evidence to the Mahon Tribunal today.

Mr Dunlop returned to the witness box this morning to answer questions about his role in the Quarryvale development.

During questioning about comments made by Mr Gilmartin, the former lobbyist got irritated and

accused Mr Gilmartin of acting as a buffoon.

This led to an exchange between Mr Dunlop and Judge Mahon, during which Mr Dunlop complained about comments which have been made about him at the tribunal and which he claims went uncorrected.

Judge Mahon said that, if Mr Dunlop had any problem with the way he was being treated, the way to deal with it was through his lawyers.

This afternoon, the tribunal will hear from horse trainer Jim Bolger and publican Louis Fitzgerald.
