Martin accuses opposition of 'cheap political shot'
Minister for Enterprise Micheál Martin has accused the opposition of taking 'cheap political' shots at the Taoiseach.
The comment follows ongoing calls by Fine Gael and the Labour Party for Bertie Ahern to resign over the controversy surrounding his tax affairs.
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny says it is a very serious matter that the Taoiseach is unable to produce a tax clearance certificate.
However, speaking from South Africa today, Mr Martin said the opposition was simply playing politics.
