A breakaway unionist party opposed to power-sharing between Sinn Féin and the DUP is due to contest its first election next month.

A breakaway unionist party opposed to power-sharing between Sinn Féin and the DUP is due to contest its first election next month.

Traditional Unionist Voice was set up by former MEP Jim Allister to oppose the DUP's decision to share power with republicans.

One of its members, Keith Harbinson, is due to contest a Banbridge District Council by-election in Co Down next month in the first test of its popularity among the voting public.
