Cork gardaí investigate stabbing incident

Gardaí in Cork are investigating a stabbing incident in the early hours of this morning.

A man in his 20s was injured in the arm during the incident, which occurred at a house on Ardmore Avenue in Knocknaheeny on the north side of the city.

Gardaí were called to the house at around 1am.

The injured man was rushed to Cork University Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí in Gurranabraher are investigating.
