Motorists warned about poor driving conditions

Motorists are being warned that road conditions are very poor around the country this morning, with black ice a problem in many areas.

Road temperatures are below zero in most parts of the country, with temperatures below -2 degrees in parts of Roscommon, Monaghan, Cavan, Meath and Wicklow.
