Suspicious package found in Dublin city centre

Army bomb disposal experts are examining a suspicious device found in the Smithfield area of Dublin city this morning.

The package was discovered near the entrance to the District Court on North Brunswick Street.

The area around the courthouse has been evacuated and traffic diversions are in place, causing significant disruption to motorists on Manor Street and around Stoneybatter.
