Two men in armed raid on cash-in-transit van in Belfast
Two men held up the crew of a cash-in-transit van at gun-point in Belfast this morning.
It happened just after 11am at York Street as the crew prepared to make a delivery to a shop.
One of the workers was hit with a hand-gun before the two men, who were also armed with an iron bar, grabbed a cash box and escaped in an English registered car.
Police said the men, who were wearing hi-visibility jackets, may have been hit with florescent security dye during the robbery.
