Govt planning major welfare changes for single parents

The Government is reportedly planning new measures that will oblige single parents to seek employment or training.

Reports this morning say such parents will be required to liaise with a welfare advisor from the Department of Social and Family Affairs once their youngest child has reached the age of seven or eight.
