Search on for volunteers to help cancer patients

Volunteers are needed to drive cancer patients to a Dublin hospital for specialist treatment, it emerged today.

The Irish Cancer Society said it is seeking 130 motorists for the pilot 'Care to Drive' scheme for patients who are unable to travel alone because of where they live or the financial burden of transport.
