Woman dies in two-vehicle collision

A woman has died and a number of others are seriously injured following a two-vehicle road crash in Co Offaly today.

The accident happened at Annagharvey, on the Tullamore to Portarlington road, at around 11.30am.

Traffic diversions are in place in the area, with motorists approaching Tullamore being diverted at Springfield Cross towards Cappincurr.

Traffic from Portarlington is being diverted at Ballina Cross.
