Ahern urged to make statement on tax affairs

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern should issue a public statement about his tax affairs, it was claimed today.

Leader of the Labour Party Eamon Gilmore said the Taoiseach’s authority was being eroded and his credibility undermined with each new revelation on his personal finances.
