Court orders continuation of blood transfusion ruling

A High Court order has been continued permitting the National Maternity Hospital to give a sick baby a blood transfusion if needed, regardless of the parents religious beliefs.

Mr Justice George Birmingham granted the continuation of the order originally granted on Christmas Eve.
