Record LUAS passenger figures for 2007

Nearly 29 million passengers used the Luas in 2007 - an increase of three million on 2006 figures.

Making the announcement today, Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey said the record number of people using both the Red and Green lines is proof that reliable, top quality public transport will be used.
