Gardaí from Kevin St are appealing for witnesses to a collision at James Joyce Bridge in Dublin.

Gardaí from Kevin St are appealing for witnesses to a collision at James Joyce Bridge in Dublin.

A 26-year-old man was seriously injured after he was hit by a van at around 5am on Sunday morning.

Gardaí believe the van may have turned onto the James Joyce Bridge from Ushers Island.

The man is being treated in Beaumont Hospital for a head injury.

Gardaí have asked that anyone who may have witnessed the accident contact them at Kevin St garda station on 01 666 9400.
