Irish national asked to leave Afghanistan

The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is investigating whether an Irish national has been asked to leave Afghanistan.

Reports from the country say an Irish national working as an EU official is among two people who've been asked to leave Afghanistan for allegedly holding meetings with the Taliban.
