Car crash claims one life

One woman has been killed in a Christmas Eve crash in Co Tipperary.

She was passenger in a car that crashed at Cooleeney near Moyne at about 10pm.

The male driver of the car was taken to Nenagh General Hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
