Six die on the roads over the weekend
Six people have lost their lives on Irish roads over the weekend.
The deaths occurred in counties Limerick, Louth and Meath - and in the north, in counties Antrim and Armagh.
The latest fatality happened near the village of Murroe in County Limerick shortly after 6pm on Sunday evening.
A 32-year-old male pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a van - he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 60 year old man was killed when he was hit by a car and a bus at Garlow Cross outside Navan on Sunday evening.
On Saturday night, a 23 year old woman died following a two car collision near Omeath, County Louth.
A 29 year old man was killed on Sunday morning when the van he was driving crashed near Dromiskin in Louth.
In north Antrim, a man died after the car in which he was travelling left the road and crashed near Cushendall.
A 22-year-old man lost his life in a crash in Crossmaglen, South Armagh, when his 4x4 left the road.
