Ahern: Murdered truck driver had no criminal links

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern today insisted in the Dáil that murdered Co Armagh trucker Paul Quinn had no criminal links, and he offered to meet his grieving parents.

Briege and Stephen Quinn yesterday met the Minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern in Dundalk and raised concerns about earlier comments the Taoiseach had made about their son.
