Gradaí probe Cork shooting

Gardaí in Cork are investigating a shooting incident in the city in the early hours of this morning.

A number of shots were fired at a house on Kilmore Road in Knocknaheeny at around 2am.

No one was injured in the incident.

Gardaí, who were on patrol in the area at the time, arrested two men in their twenties.

They are being questioned at Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations.

A shotgun, which was uncovered a short distance from the scene, will be forensically examined today.
