Gardaí hold men over 'gun find'

Two men were arrested tonight after a suspected gun was recovered by gardaí in inner-city Dublin.

Investigating officers said they seized what was believed to be a firearm at Clanbrassil Street at around 9.15pm.

The men were arrested and are being detained under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act.

They are being held at Kevin St and Kilmainham Garda Stations, where they can be questioned for up the 72 hours.
