Exotic animals intercepted at Dublin Airport

Scorpions, tarantulas and snakes packed into boxes and falsely labelled as plants have been intercepted at Dublin Airport, it emerged today.

Officers from Revenue’s Customs Service discovered the attempt to smuggle the exotic species into Ireland.
