Lynn fails to show in court
Lawyer Michael Lynn failed to show before a judge again today to face questions about multi-million euro property loans.
He had been due to appear in front of a High Court Judge in Dublin, but Mr Justice Richard Johnson was forced to adjourn the case until January 14 after being told there was no sign of Lynn.
The lawyer, who has been linked to an €80m mortgage scam, is believed to be in England.
A warrant was issued for his arrest yesterday by the President of the High Court in Dublin.
The Irish Law Society asked the judge to put the case back until early next month.
Mr Justice Johnson today said: "To alleviate the anxiety of the public, this matter should be dealt with as speedily as possible."
This is the second time that Lynn, with an address at St Alban's Park, Sandymount, Dublin, failed to turn up at the High Court.
Lynn's whereabouts are unknown since he disappeared on Tuesday.
It is alleged that he has taken out multiple mortgages on numerous properties.
He was due in court yesterday for the first of two days of questioning about his financial affairs.
Yesterday Mr Justice Johnson ordered that Lynn be placed in custody if caught.
Today the judge said the same condition applied and adjourned proceedings.
