The head of the HSE says alcohol remains the biggest problem in Ireland, despite the recent headline-grabbing stories about cocaine-related deaths.

Speaking in Dublin today, Professor Brendan Drumm said society should not lose sight of the fact that alcohol is the biggest scourge on society and the largest drain on the health service.
