SIPTU shows support for U-turn on pay increases for senior civil servants

SIPTU has said it would welcome a government u-turn on the massive pay increases awarded to senior civil servants.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is in line for an extra €38,000 a year in his pay packet.
