Police in the North are investigating a stabbing incident in Derry

A man in his mid 20s was stabbed in the stomach near a pub on the main street in Dungiven.

The incident happened at 2am this morning.

The man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The PSNI believes up to 30 people may have been involved.
