Climate change protestors demand action
Climate change activists have demanded that the Government respond strongly to the climate crisis.
The Stop Climate Chaos group marched through Dublin city to the Custom House to raise awareness of global warming this afternoon.
The parade began with a peal of the bells at Christchurch Cathedral and the crowd banged drums and blew whistles along the route.
Minister for Energy Eamon Ryan who attended the event remarked that climate change was now a crisis and the protest was part of a long campaign to make Irish people more aware of the extent of the problem.
